In Siskind's images, I saw the tremendous clarity, the black and white (obviously), and I saw amazing texture. In my images, I tried to find objects that would show contrast with the black and white editing, but also objects that had good textures. I found this brick in the small gym and thought it would be perfect for the assignment. After some light editing in Lightroom, the final images present themselves as so above. :)
